ash wednesday

First United Methodist Church Sulphur Springs will hold an Ash Wednesday service at 6 p.m. February 18th in the church sanctuary.  This service will include appropriate music, including the First UMC handbell choir, a short sermon by Senior Pastor Chris Rickwartz and imposition of the ashes. 

Following the Ash Wednesday service, the Children’s Department will have a “Wheels & Waffles” event in the church gym.  Children are encouraged to bring their favorite wheeled toy and enjoy some waffles! 

*Senior Pastor Chris Rickwartz and Associate Pastor David Larkin will also offer imposition of Ashes during the Dinner Bell Ministry Lunch, served at 11:45 a.m. in Fellowship Hall.
