From the cradle through graduation, 

First UMC supports your

child's faith development!

• The First UMC Nursery (located on the first floor of the Education Building) offers childcare on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings for babies and toddlers (up to 3 years of age).

• The Children's Department (for children 3 years through 5th grade) is located on the second floor of the Education Building.  Sunday School begins at 10am.  Children will all meet in The Zoo and then go to their classrooms from there.   

• Sundays, children attend church with their families during both services, but have the opportunity leave for "Kids Church" in the Children's Department.  Those age 3 and up can attend Kid's Church, after the Children's Sermon during the service, for a lesson and activities that are age appropriate for them. Kids Church is based on the same sermon/scripture that takes place in "Big Church", but at their level! Sunday School also takes place from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

• Wednesday night activities or Wonderful Wednesday takes place during the school year from 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
  

• The Youth Department (for grades 6-12) meet in the Family Life Center.  They gather at 10:00am for fellowship and announcements and then break into smaller groups for Sunday school and Confirmation Class.  Wednesday nights Youth meet from 6pm to 7:30 p.m. during the school year.
