What to Expect
At First United Methodist Church you'll discover that we are a caring, nurturing multi-generational church family. A true fellowship of believers eager to share with you the marvelous ways God is working in our congregation.
Dress is casual and comfortable, but don't be surprise to see a range of styles from shorts and a t-shirt to slacks and a tie.
Sunday mornings
Sunday mornings consist of worship, study, fellowship...and coffee. The WELCOME center is the first stop to grab a cup of coffee and to catch up with friends or get your bearings. We have two morning services from which to choose and Sunday school classes for adults, children and youth.
Wednesday Evenings
Wednesday evenings offer a little something for everyone. We have activities for kids (ages 3 years through 5th grade) from 6 to 7 and youth (6th grade-12th grade) from 6 to 7:30. For adults we have short term and long term Bible studies and choir rehearsal. All activities begin at 6pm. Our Wednesday activities occur in the Fall and Spring semesters.
Small Groups
There is power in connecting to a group of fellow travelers. There is power in engaging with the biblical text on a regular basis. There is power in supporting one another on the journey of faith. You are invited to sign up for one of the new groups starting as a way of connecting, engaging, and supporting one another in faith. Small groups follow the school semesters.
